Designer and artist Nadia Gallardo mainly designs single flower vases for Serax, looking to bottles for inspiration to create new shapes. She got the idea for her Flower Bottles purely by chance. While working on a prototype made of thick paper, the top came undone and the bottle unfurled, much like a bud when it flowers... Her ceramic vase has the same ‘unfinished’ shape, mimicking the color of cardboard with a matt outer surface and a glazed interior finish.
