Large Abstracta System Cabinet by Poul Cadovius
Very nice minimalistic shaped and so called ‘Abstracta’ shelving system designed by Poul Cadovius and Manufactured by Royal System, Denmark 1950. This timeless system exists of black lacquered metal tubes with cast aluminium connectors, clear glass shelves. The shelves rest on metal corners which do not only support the shelves, but they also connect the entire unit together and provide more strength to the unit. On the lower part there are nice white painted metal shelves which can have a lot of weight on them. This unit is in good and clean condition and as you can see it can be used as a very nice display unit, bookcase, storage unit, room divider and so on. The abstracta system was designed for multiple uses but mostly shop wise. Storage units, display units for all sorts of items and collectibles. It could be made upon request in any size you wanted.
